In small group, the student will create a Food Chain on Posters to include; Organism Population Community Abiotic Factors Biotic Factors Omnivores, Carnivores, Herbivores Producers Primary Consumers and Secondary Consumers Predator/Prey Decomposers Parasite/Host Show with arrows the Flow of Energy in an Ecosystem within a Food Web
Thursday- Students will complete pages 206-213 in their Science Interactive Workbooks.
Friday- Students will be assessed on Food Chains and how the energy flows through an Ecosystem.

September 21st. If you have not turned in your child’s $12.00
yet, please do so as soon as possible.

*Please remember that Parent/Teacher conferences are
scheduled for September 28th. If you have not yet set up a
conference with me, please email or call as soon as possible
to discuss your child’s academic success.

*Please note, every Thursday is communication day here
at Killian. Your child should be coming home with graded
papers stapled to a yellow progress report. Please sign
and return the entire packet with your child as soon as
possible. I keep all student work filed in class for
future reference.

*Killian Kick-Off is scheduled for Saturday September 29th. 
Please plan on coming out to enjoy some food, fun, and fellowship
with everyone. (I will be in the dunking booth from 11:00-12:30
if you or your child are interested in dunking me)

Thursday- Intern Ms. Anthony will be teaching students
today on Carnivores, Omnivores, Herbivores, and Scavengers.
Friday-  The student will work in small group to create food
web/chains. Each group will be working with a different Ecosystem.
**Throughout the week, students will also be required to
complete Interactive Science Workbook pages 204-213.
