this week. Students will use a model to create a watershed.
By observing how surface water flow is determined by the
shape of the land, students will visually and dramatically
observe the physical characteristics of a watershed,
and investigate the impacts of human land use decisions.

We will be working on Landforms and Oceans this week.
Students will be asked to describe and compare the
characteristics and locations of the landforms on
continents with those on the ocean floor
(including the continental shelf and slope, the mid-ocean
ridge, the rift zone, the trench, and the abyssal plain).
Students will be creating oceanic landforms with legos.
Students will work in small group to identify, build,
and label oceanic landforms in class.
